You Thought Today Was Tuesday?

Hahahahahaha. Silly human. No, today is Monday. Again. Nothing like two Monday's in a row. Yesterday I went to finally hear the results of my sleep study. Except the sleep clinic never sent the findings to my doctor. I had to wait over an hour while she called the clinic and got the results faxed over. Then she took a look at them an said, well you obviously have periodic limb movement disorder (which my very first study in April said). You need to go see the neurologist since that's not my specialty (she's an pulmalogist). Soonest appointment for theYou Brought Your Cock to a Fiesta?

This past week I've been in Puerto Vallerta, Mexico with E and his father and step-mother. It was a pleasant, low-key week, with lots of time sleeping by the pool and reading. We went on a snorkling trip and E and I also got to go scuba diving, which were both great fun. The reefs weren't as alive as in Hawaii, but we still got to see a lot of neat animals - jelly fish, sea stars, trumpet fish, lots of puffer fish, rays, and all kinds of brightly colored fish I don't know the name of. I just started using Google Reader yesterday. I had been using a mishmash of bookmarks, blogroll links, and plain old remembering to keep up to date. I haven't gotten into using RSS at all. I don't fully understand how the readers work, in terms of my experience using them (I know they aren't hard, but I never took the time to look at one), and I don't know. It's kinda like MP3s. Today I discovered Merlin Mann's 5ives.com site. I'm not sure why I haven't heard about this site before. He's been doing it for awhile, and gosh darn, it sure is funny. Be careful though! It's highly addictive and there is deceptively more lists than you think there could ever be. I'm so glad that people like Merlin exist. I'm glad I'm not one of them, but I'm glad he's here. Reading through Merlin's lists of five got me to thinking what lists I would come up with. His posts about words got me thinking of words, and wordplay, and oneTake Me Home, Country Roads

There's nothing better than getting off a plane, after traveling for 10+ hours, when you've been achy and sore and coughing and miserable because you are sick, and are deciding that a cab home is so much better than BRT as you fight the crowd, than seeing the one you love, holding a sign that says "The woman of my dreams." I'm home. I'm sick. I'm with my cats. I'm with my sweetie. (And he's even making me lunch. w00t!)
