7:00 PM - Remembered that E had games night and wasn't going to be home until late. Wandered around Second Life for too long.
9:00 PM - Took myself upstairs to bed. Through the magic of Tivo was able to watch all of Law & Order: SVU and turn off the TV before falling asleep.
12:30 AM - Wake up and realize that E still isn't home. Assume that the trains are running late.
3:00 AM - Wake up again and E is still not home. Tell self that he probably missed the train and is spending the night in Palo Alto.
3:10 AM - Realize that he was riding his bike and could have had an accident on the way to the train.
3:12 AM - Remember that the phone in the bedroom doesn't work and can't hear if the phone rings downstairs. And cell phone is downstairs.
3:15 AM - Wonder if the hospital would call here or not. Wishes that we had made emergency contact cards for our wallets like we talked about.
3:18 AM - Tells self that he just missed the train and is fine.
3:22 AM - Wonders how many hospitals there are between here and Palo Alto. Would he have gotten hit on the way too the train or from the train?
3:30 AM - Can't take it anymore. Gives into paranoia and goes downstairs, using a trip to the bathroom as an excuse. Checks answering machine. Nothing. Checks cell phone - text message. "M's clock is slow. Missed train. Sleeping here. Sucky."
3:31 AM - HUGE sigh of relief.
4:00 AM - Start composing this blog post in head.
