CNN has a lovely story about Mister Rogers today. It's really a shame that as teenagers it became cool to mock Mister Rogers. Because he really was an amazing man. Every time I read about him, I wish I were more like him.
Something about Mister Rogers always makes me think about my father. I don't know if it's just that I remember my father liking that show. But I think it's more. I think my father greatly respected the man and looked up to him. The kindness and certain aspects of Mister Rogers I see reflected in my dad. It's times like this that I wish I could talk to my dad and ask him about it.
